Like any adventures, it starts somewhere. Mine started with Mactan International Airport. I have not been here for a couple of years. And mind you, the place has a new look.
At the moment it is under going construction for a bigger and much better facility. Which will be completed in a couple of years.
And the adventure starts from Mactan, Cebu. Checked in online and came to the airport hours before the flight. It was a Friday night, so I didn't want to take things for granted on the road so I left the house hours before my flight incase I get stuck in traffic on my way to the airport.
Then checked in our hand carry baggages and thankfully we didn't go over the limit.
Then had dinner. A lot to chose from now but 10 years ago this food stalls didn't exist so it was a great sight for me. Especially I was so nervous. I have noticed that the airport now has an extensive choices of food stall to choose from.
So you won't get hungry before the flight and they are the best Cebu has to offer.
Souveniers are also available at the Island Souvenier stall so aside from Cebu's famous lechon, you can also take home keychains, t-shirts, and the like.
So before you leave. Bring some goodies from Cebu to your love ones. Enjoy your flight.
The countdown to the new wing of Mactan Cebu International Airport is nearing an seen in this picture below.
There was a post about the activities of the park seen in the website. At first, you think it is too far from the city. Yep, it is a long ride but the fun has just begun.
Below is a shot of my nephew and his buddies. All smiles infront of the camera.
The shot below was taken on our first visit in the place. And this very spot here is the only place you can get a signal for your mobile.
The canteen is just a few steps from the reception area and wash area. They don't have a lot of choices because there is not a lot of adventurers coming so I advice that you bring food or your own snacks. Cause you might get hungry after the long ride from Danao proper to the park.
.
There are not a lot of trees in the surrounding areas so do put on a lot of sunscreen or some shades for your eyes and cap for your head
This here is the landmark for your skydrop adventure. It is just a 120 feet drop to the ground not much but for the first timers it is a mind blowing experience. Also the signage could be climb as well if your into a free fall style.

I have never been to Ilocos Norte or the northern part of the Philippines. So it was such an amazing moment for me to be there. And especially to be able to stand infront of the Malacang Palace of the north. It was just a great feeling.
Malacang Palace of the north is just one of the many touris destination in Ilocos Norte so for me it is a must go to place when in Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
So there I was standing infront of the majestic grounds of Malacang Palace of the northe. Upon stepping up the red round marble steps I noticed that there is a ramp on one corner for ease of access into the house for people on a wheelchair.
Once inside the grand house, I was awed of the interior. It was so spacious inside. There were a few items of the former Presidential family who occupied there were left for display.
The Malacanang Palace of the North
Some pictures of the Marcos family left in the house
A beautiful painting of first lady Imelda Marcos.
The grand staircase made from the finest wood.
The staircase, arenn't they dramatic. They are long and not to winding leading to the second floor.
I wanted to have a shot of the waterbody infront but the sun was still high evidently so I opted to shoot the patio instead.
